Azeezat Johnson

Posted in:

People

Dr Azeezat Johnson was a brilliant mind. She was a lecturer at Queen Mary University and a member of the feminist review.

Azeezat’s research on Black geographies, home, intersectionality, care, gender and embodiment has profoundly impacted within and beyond Geography. Her work will continue to challenge the deep-rooted and enduring white structures of power in academia.

Unfortunately she passed away last year on 07/03/2022
