Bath Street Mosque
Founded in 1968, the Bath Street mosque was the first formal site of worship for Oxford's Muslim community, and largely served local Pakistanis. A van would drive around the area everyday to collect children for daily Islamic lessons. As the Muslim community in Oxford grew, so did the need for more space. Today, the Bath Street mosque is home to the Oxford Mosque Society.
